This skin was created by my volunteer. No compensation was given or received by either myself or Mane6. This skin is distributed free of charge. No donations are accepted for this skin either intended for myself or Mane6.
The original artwork of Mane6 for Fighting is Magic is not contained within. The artworks are cropped and resized, and thus only partials of the art. I will not distribute the original artwork that was used in this project.
This work is only connected to Mane6 because the art used within is theirs. It is not controlled by Mane6, as I am not directly affiliated with Mane6. If I receive a request by either Hasbro or Mane6 to remove this, I'll oblige without hesitation.
Because of the limitations on the current level of design in the Steam Skin, there is about a quarter-second to a half-second delay when you open the Steam window before the images load, outside of Fluttershy. This delay does not exist when you first open Steam, but instead when you open the main window while Steam is currently running. This is because they are drawn onto the UI, whereas Fluttershy is basically imprinted onto it. I tried to imprint each one onto the UI, but, because of said limitations, it didn't work. My apologies.
This skin was fun to make, the most fun out of all skins I've made so far. I won't be surprised if I don't have as much fun making other skins than I did with this one. The subject matter is awesome, as well as the content of the skin itself. Not only that, but I got to do some pretty fun tweaking of the layout on the steam window. In addition, actually having correspondence with Mane6 made it even better: It was with their permission that I made this skin with their artwork. I used twelve colors here, all of which I nabbed from their two banners: "Fighting is Magic" and "Mane6." I hope everyone likes this skin at least as much as I liked making it.
The reason they are where they all are is because their posture and personality lent themselves to the idea behind each one. Fluttershy is behind the Piston because, well, she's Fluttershy. Rainbow Dash is in the upper-left corner because she's dropping down in a sort of dive-kick, and a top corner would be perfect for her. Applejack throwing a lasso like that really makes a lower corner perfect, seeing as it can be seen as her being ready to throw it at just about anypony here. Rarity seems to be looking more at the viewer than anything, so right behind "you" in the lower-right corner works well. Pinkie Pie just fits so perfectly in the lower-middle because she's balancing a cupcake on her nose. Twilight was put in the top-middle because that was all that's left, and it still worked pretty well.
